I use Aerius because I often break out in hives while running - even on the treadmill at the gym. I also have some tree and pollen allergies and so far it seems to be helping me a lot. Just not breaking out in hives is awesome, really.

If your allergies are severe and OTC medicines don't help, you might want to talk to a doctor about allergy shots. I know a few people who get them regularly just to get through a normal day.

I have the same problems. I have tried all the natural remedies like honey and apple cider vinegar, they didn't work. I finally gave in to zyrtec. It does help me.

After years of allergies I still have not found the ideal solution to the issue of outdoor allergies. The best thin I found is a neti pot. For those who have never heard of one, it is a small pot that you put distilled water and a saline solution in then rinse you nostrils out with it. If you do it after being outside it helps to cleanse out the pollen. It is relatively inexpensive. Most large stores, and pharmacies have them.

I live in MN. Yesterday my daughter and I went for a brisk walk in the park and played a while before returning home. I have outdoor allergies so bad and I hate going to gyms (although I have a membership). any solutions to how I can enjoy outdoor exercises without feeling my allergies later.
