Mushrooms, celery would add bulk to your recipes. Or try creating some of your own that has your favorites in them. Gosh I don't know what I would do if I was allergi to onions. I put onions and garlic in about everything. Good luck

are you allergic to pepper? they are not the same family, so some chopped gree/yellow/red peppers would be tasty to use.

I am allergic to onions and dairy. I try to cook a lot of vegan recipes to get away from the dairy, but they are usually full of onions. Most recipes usually use 1-2 cups of onions.
I was wondering if anyone had suggestions for an ingredient to substitute for the onions. I am not so much worried about taste as I am about the bulk from the onions being left out of the recipe.
My onion allergy includes all of the allum family, including garlic :(
