I am allergic to onions and dairy. I try to cook a lot of vegan recipes to get away from the dairy, but they are usually full of onions. Most recipes usually use 1-2 cups of onions.
I was wondering if anyone had suggestions for an ingredient to substitute for the onions. I am not so much worried about taste as I am about the bulk from the onions being left out of the recipe.
My onion allergy includes all of the allum family, including garlic :(
