I am the mother of 4 as well and I loved summer vacations. Everyone always asked me if I was happy school was going back in...I was like no...it is way more work. You're right though...homework, early mornings, meetings, lunches etc. It does get easier as they get older though. My oldest daughter has moved out, my oldest son is working full time and will do an apprentce there. The other 2 are in high school (grade 10 and 11) so it is definitely easier now. Take advantage of all the summer vacations you get to spend together.

I'm a mother of 4 school age boys + husband which means 5 (wives you know what I mean) and if I have to wash, iron and hang another school/ work uniform I'll scream!!!
Let's not forget homework,pta, fieldtrips&school sports

another parent said she wished for school all year NOT!!! Summer Vacation Should Get Here Already Aww!!!
