Good morning,Amanda and welcome! This is a great place to get support and help along the way. It is good to want to get healthy for both you self and your daughter. Also,as you do this, you will e teaching her healthy eating habits and life style. I'm a pediatric nurse, and see so many obese children who are suffering the health effects of obesity. So sad!. Hi Amanda, emoticon So glad you are here! And congratulations on the arrival of your little girl. One of my inspirations is to be healthy for my children and grandchildren (you guessed it, I am a lot older than you!) so I "get" your desire to be fit for your daughter.

Spark can be a wonderfully helpful (trackers) and supportive place (community--find your teams). I wish you all the best.

Hello my name is amanda I'm 23 I am a single mother and a nurse aide for our veterans I was always in shape growing up and up until the point I got pregnant I gained a lot of weight with my precious little girl. I got to 200lbs which is not good for my 5'2" frame. I have lost down to 178 and want to focus now on taking better care of myself and getting more physically fit. I want to get down to 135lbs eventually so I have 43lbs to lose. I want my daughter to be able to look at me later in life and be proud not embarrassed.
