emoticon NYKLEGUBEN and emoticon to SparkPeople..Nice to have you with us on the journey to a healthier lifestyle.

As for choosing, and narrowing down...sometimes it take plain trials to see what works best for you. The best part, we are all here to help others and ourselves, so you can try all the activities in various degrees and still accomplish both. emoticon

Don't be afraid to give your best at what seemingly are small jobs. Every time you conquer one it makes you that much stronger. If you do the little jobs well, the big ones will tend to take care of themselves.

It is never too late to be what you might have been.

First of all welcome to the site and glad you're here! I would recommend commenting on other people's posts, be it on the message boards or their personal blogs. Find people you have something in common with and friend them. That way you'll be notified when they post something new, and if they add you back they're more likely to see your posts and respond to them!

Sometimes I find support just reading the health articles on the site, too. They have a lot of good advice and members can comment on them with their own stories. I just urge you to connect with others any way you can and don't be afraid to voice your concerns, frustrations and successes!

"Man cannot remake himself without suffering, for he is both the marble and the sculptor."

"The fearless are merely fearless. People who act in spite of their fear are truly brave."

"All success stories have 1 thing in common -- they decided they were going to do something, and then they did, no matter what got in their way."

Hi there,
Just signed up today, am a little overwhelmed with the site. Seems easy to get lost and I think it will take some time to figure out how to make it work well for me. So far, it's helpful just to even track the food, workouts, etc. Posting to messages? Chats with Teams? How do I narrow it down and just have a small and consistent soursce of mutually shared support?

Ciao for now,
Nyk.
