I see you found a thread on the Plan in this section......so you can read what others think.
Still would advise you to talk with your physicians so that you are in the best possible condition for your surgery and enhance your recovery!!

Sorry, never heard of it....
Your point about waiting until post surgery might be quite significant though. I certainly wouldn't want to do anything radical to my health prior! Especially if this "Plan" involves significant changes to food groups eaten, or severe calorie restriction, or fasting or anything like that....
I would strongly urge you start by discussing your proposed weight loss with your physician. They are the best ones to guide you given your medical condition!!
In the meantime, you could certainly check into the Spark program....see what suggested calorie range Spark gives you for a moderate to slow weight loss of 1 to 2 lbs a week. Take this information to your physician as well....and let them guide you!
Best of luck with your surgery, and wishes for a quick recovery. Then...you can really get involved in working towards a healthy Lifestyle....(which is really what Spark is about--not just losing weight!!) patti

Hi I would love to chat with anyone that is in a similar position to me. I have stage 4 endometriosis and am scheduled for the excision surgery in September. My awesome husband just bought me "The Plan" and I am excited to start it. My hormones are horribly "out of whack" due to my endo. Should I wait to start The Plan after I have my surgery to get the full benefit? I am 23 and weigh anywhere from 140 to 150 depending on the day! My goal weight is around 110 since I am 5'2". I would LOVE to talk with some folks that have done the plan and get some tips!! I have tried ALL the weight loss diets out there to no avail! I am excited to try this Plan because it makes perfect sense to me. I can eat chocolate one day and lose weight and eat a salad the next day and gain 5 pounds! Sorry I know this a long post but just wanted to give a bit of background since I am new here. Again ALL responses are so welcome!!
