If half a stone is all the excess weight you have, then no, you can't lose it in 2 weeks. It takes a deficit of 3500 calories to use up a pound of fat. That means that every day for those two weeks, you would have to use 1750 calories more than you ate. A very obese person can do that because every little movement they make burns more calories. An average person can't, because even if she didn't eat anything at all, she would still have to use 1750 calories. If she ate 1200 calories, which is the minimum amount a woman needs in order to avoid getting sick, then she would have to use 2950 calories. That's not going to happen.
And as others have said, the WORST thing to do is crash diet before your fitting, because you can't keep crash-diet weight off. You will almost certainly gain it back before the wedding, and then the dress won't fit. How horrible would it be if on the day of the wedding you discovered you couldn't zip the dress?

You shouldn't have to fit your clothes... your clothes should fit you. Losing weight quickly to fit a dress is very likely to result in either unhealthy habits or disappointment.
Aim to lose weight normally between now and then, and get a dress that fits and flatters you... don't try to stuff yourself into a dress because you place mor eimportance on the number in the tag than you do in looking good and your clothes fitting you well.

Whether you can lose half a stone in a fortnight does depend on some things. That's about 3k isn't it? Isn't a stone around 7kg? That would be over 1.5kg a week, which is more than this site's maximum recommend amount weekly.
That is achieveable if you're over 300lbs. The larger someone is, the more weight they can lose per week.
If your half a stone is really all the excess weight you have to lose, it would realistically take you 8-12 weeks to lose that safely and healthily. Weight loss is very slow when there isn't much fat left to go.
A fitting for a dress is a TERRIBLE reason to lose weight. Best bet is to just not lose or gain any weight between now and the wedding so that you can get a dress that fits you at the fitting ... and fits you at the wedding! Last thing you want is night-before taking in or letting out on a dress on such an important occasion.
Trust me - your friend is FAR more concerned simply that you're there and supporting her on her special day than in whether you weigh a mere half a stone different to now.
