The Oriental Institute at the University of Chicago was one of the highlights of a recent trip... a GREAT museum... including mummies, all sorts of artifacts, all displayed well... and a great gift shop, too!

The Shedd Aquarium, Field and Science Museum, tour the Sears Tower (refuse to call it the other thing), tour the Hancock building. Walk around Water Tower Place. I would say Navy Pier but that is on the lake and mostly outdoors. Put that on your agenda in the spring or summer. The art museum. You can probably check on line to see if they have any special exhibits going on.
