Hello all! I joined about 6-7 months ago and didn't log in daily or keep up with any of my lofty resolutions. This time is it!! I am tired of being overweight! I am tired of thinking I'm not that bad and then seeing a picture of myself and groaning, "Auuuggghh, where did she come from??" So 2013 is it! I am finally going to stick to a balanced food plan, without deprivation (I can NOT give up my chocolate!) and start moving my big behind. My sister has joined with me and we will conquer the weight together! My dear husband has even decided to get in on it and joined Sparkpeople as well. SInce I'm relatively new, anyone have any suggestions for long term goals?? Nice to finally be there and doing my thing! Happy New Year!

I am in the same boat as you. If I stay focused on Sparkpeople, it gives me the encouragement that I need to lose weight. I let myself get busy and forget to log in daily then I start straying. My husband tries to help me but it is not the same coming from someone who doesn't struggle with being overweight. The members here are very inspiring. Keep up the good work! You can do this!!!!!

I lost over 20 lbs 2 years ago on this program. but then just stopped. mainly for the reason that I had no support. my husband is a good man but he didn't understand how important his support is.This time after i gained anouther 40 lbs I talked to my husband and explained what I need from him. I'm here to stay until I get to my ideal weight. My goal is to get to my goal by the time my twin graduate in May. any encouragement is greatly welcomed! thankyou
