Honey, that sounds awfully like a seizure. I vehemently concur that you need to check with a doctor, as that's not a normal or common reaction to dietary changes. Do so as soon as possible. This sounds a lot like what happens to my husband when he doesn't meet his nutritional needs (he has a seizure disorder.) Please, please, go.

I'd say that's something to see a doctor about, not a message board. It's worth checking out.

You get muscle spasms when you're laughing? That's really unusual. Do you keep a food diary? If so, you should bring it to a doctor with your complaint.

Like I said, I'm no expert, but I know there are some conditions that cause people to lose control of their muscles when they laugh. It's called cataplexy I think.

I'm not an expert but the only thing I can think that would be causing this is you're not getting enough water or you're lacking in a specific vitamin. If I don't drink enough water I get really bad leg cramps.

I drastically changed my eating habits 4 days ago...i am eating very healthy not just starving myself and I am getting major muscle spasms throughout my body that render me helpless sometimes for several minutes. (i have not been doing strenuous excersise thought i know i should be). Any ideas on what is causing this and how to remedy this?
