First, I love NIGHTSKYSTAR 's response! But I wanted to add that if you want to sleep, that is not all bad...sleep! But, if it really doesn't help, then be "mindless"... Take your mind off things...read, crosswords, watch a comedy, meditate, listen to music that gets you MOVIN...and move to it, if you can! Otherwise, write it out in a journal, read self help books aimed at your stress...you can handle this!!! Take control! Best of luck!

When i get too stressed i put everything down and take a walk, or a swim in the summer. I clear my mind and try to enjoy nature...if i'm in the water i close my eyes and float and try to identify sounds. if walking i look for beautiful things...birds singing, a flower, how the snow is sparkling. Taking a total break from whatever is stressing me helps for me. post a blog. look for someone that needs help and lend a hand. if you are truly tired? take a 20 minute nap. when i was ill one of my aides would do that...she would say instead of lunch i'm taking a 20 min nap could you please wake me up then? and she would wake up smiling and refreshed. posting on Spark helps, too!!
