The formating has changed a little, but this is how I did it:

Go to the SP start page, on the left side there is a section called 'my goals and progess'

Select 'Change Goal' in the 'Calories to Burn' section

In the 'Cardio Training Duration' enter '0'

After you save your changes, you will see a difference in your recommended calorie ranges. My only went down a little, (about 100 C) so it's doable.

How do you reset your calorie range for no workouts?

Thank you all so much! I've been doing some arm workouts and ab workouts today. First day I can start walking without crutches (even though I still use them cause i'm so sore still)! All of your support means a lot! GINGERVISTA I'm sorry to hear that! Hope all is well! and yes, nothing we can do about it but get better from here! In four months I can get back to running!

TELL me about it! I had surgery 3 weeks ago to remove a tumor & one lobe from right lung, & difficult to do either cardio OR weight training, since I can't lift anything & my stamina's pretty low. Took almost 10 min. to walk to library today, which usually takes 5 & was utterly exhausted when I got back. I'm on my feet all day at my p-t job, plus walk to/from trains 4 miles, so like you, am used to being VERY physical! (20-30K steps/day!), so this is very frustrating. Even eating healthy foods I know I've gained a little weight, but hopefully a month from now this will all be behind me, as it will for you (or perhaps a little more for you).
But......whattaya gonna do??? emoticon
Hang in there. emoticon

You can probably do some strength training on your upper body - arms and chest - using weights or bands. You can also lean toward to lower end of your calorie range when you are not using quite so many calories exercising. It IS possible to lose weight without exercise but it takes longer and is harder especially when you have been VERY active. You need time to heal and can do it - the benefits you get from taking the time you need and HEALING will pay off big time in the long run, both in your ability to be active and in your long term weight loss. You can do it.

" I need some motivation and tips to help me lose weight without exercising."

Weight loss is 80% nutrition, so you can focus on staying within range while you recuperate.

I was down for about a week or was it two. I reset my calorie ranges for zero workouts. As long s I stayed within range, I lost, thoug slowly.

This upcoming month is going to be a hard one since yesterday I got surgery on both of my knees. Yesterday and today I cant really get out of bed and tomorrow I can start walking a little bit on crutches. I'm such an active girl so this is hard for me! I'm used to doing high intensity cardio like twice a day! I won't be able to run for about 4 months now. I need some motivation and tips to help me lose weight without exercising. I'm keeping my calories low hoping this well help!
