You can just enter what you eat into the tracker instead of going by the suggested diet. However, not all carbs are bad. Vegetables and fruits contain carbs also, and you definitely needs these in a healthy diet. When I went to a ADA nutrition class, they recommended 75 carbs at each meal and 15 at each snack, so I do not think these numbers are to high. People forget that for their bodies and mind to function properly they have to enclude carbs.
