I used to weigh the whole container, eat what I wanted, then weigh the container again. I was also shocked at how much I ate. This iseasier if your scale can weigh in grams and easier math.

I am amazed now that I measure servings...just told someone today about it! I now measure out my peanut butter and jelly on the scale and put it in small plastic containers. I can't believe the true portion...and I think about how much I would put on my sandwich before.... How many other items was I eating 2 or more portions of thinking it was one!!!
