Woo Hoo! That is a great victory! The health benefits sometimes get underplayed becasue the looking better is the obvious benefit of a healthy lifestyle, but as you can attest, better health is the real benefit. Keep that spark burning!!!

So I have never had high bp in my life until this past October 2012 and each month in checking up at the doc office, it kept getting higher until my highest at end of December of 156/97.

This week I went in for a follow up again after starting my weight loss plan of moderate exercise and eating healthy (which has not been totally easy but I'm gaining success) and my #'s read: 114/88!!!! I am so elated and just happy that my efforts are making a difference. It's just showing me that if I continue to put my health first, I'll be just fine. emoticon
