For me! Ultimately, I have to hold myself accountable for my health.

I doubt anyone ever truly loses weight primarily for someone else. Even if you believe your spouse will be much happier with you if you lose, for example, you are still doing it so that you will be happier because you believe your spouse will be happier. Admittedly if you are doing it mainly because you believe those outside you will be happier with you, that still is not a very good motivator.

Just for me! There are a lot of things I'd like to do (climb a mountain, for example). And I must admit that buying nicer clothing is high on my list. Mostly I just want to be able to get around and be active as I get older. I've watched family members really struggle with this.

Ultimately, I'm losing weight for me. I want to look and feel better and to know that I'm keeping my body fit as I age. However, it would be silly for me to deny that a part of me wants to lose weight for my husband and kids. I want to be as physically attractive as possible for my husband, and I want to be able to play with my kids.

For myself, to be able to zip around and get from place to place quickly. Not going to be in "People" magazine, lol.

It started out for someone else but now it's for me because I notice I feel better carrying less weight.

For myself mostly, but for my kids as well. I do not want them to lose their mother early in life.

For me, but as an extension; for my husband, my grandchildren. They are just as effected by my being overweight as I am.

For ME. It wasn't always this way. I want to be comfortable; walk better and improve my core/balance. ALSO: I want to find clothes that fit and are stylish and I feel comfortable in.

I lost weight for me so I could be healthy and feel good like my old self. I'm at goal weight now and I'm healthy and I feel great..
