I am new to SparkPeople and would love to join this challenge as it would help towards my goals so count me in as well!!:) Starting weight is 330lbs:( Goal weight is 145lbs eventually!!:)Good luck to everyone in this challenge!!:)

The weather is a whole lot better again so gonna walk everywhere instead of take the bus or train and try get to the gym everyday!

I'm still hanging around, but not sure I'll be able to manage a full 10 pounds with the training load. I'm calling my start weight 187.2 and would be thrilled to be back at 180 by month's end (near my low weight). Although I've gained a few pounds back I can't be too disappointed because some the gain is in muscle...I wore a pair of jeans that I hadn't put on for about two months yesterday and my legs were TIGHT in them. So my quads and hammy's are definitely growing!
I kicked off the month with a 51 mile ride this morning. I doubt I'll top June's total mileage of 650, but I'll be starting races and organized rides next weekend...the first is a 100k next Saturday.

Going to give my current plan a boost by getting some kind of cardio every day.
*update* well... I kind of fell off the cardio wagon, but I'm down to 348.2 on the 14th, 5.4 of my ten pounds down... *makes the sign against the evil eye*

Definitely count me in on this challenge .... I need some accountability partners and competition always sparks motivation for me! Spending this weekend reassessing goals and diet -- looking forward to succeeding in July.

my wonderful wife broke the news to me that i have to go back for blood tests,, which means dr visit at the end of the month, i have to lose at least 10 lbs by the 29th lol. so now its personal :)

My first post!! I will take this challenge. I'm a little scared...I started in June and have lost 18 lbs. thus far...I'm hoping that 10 lbs in July will happen, as well...with no plateaus!

Count me in as well!!! My mom challenged me to lose 5 lbs in July, and if I do it she'll pay me $50! But if I lose 10, well then that's just an extra bonus for me!!! Can't wait to get started tomorrow!!!

Only lost 1/2 lb. this week. Down to 260.25 Did well on my exercising this week but not as well with my eating. Since I lost 2-1/2 lbs. last week, I'm not too upset. Hope to do better this week, though.
Well, July is over half over, but count me in. I had joined another group all about losing 16 pounds in July, but I can't even find it anymore. Besides, I think it might be a little unrealistic and dangerous goal. I have already lost 7 pounds this month, so 10 is feeling very realistic. I go to the doctors on the 27th, and they have a more accurate scale than I do. So, I have been trying to lose as much as I can before I have to hop onto it. I just hit the 40 pound loss mark today. (Had lost 20 on my own before finding SP.) I have 60 more to go total, but I am taking it slow (baby steps) so as not to get discouraged. I would love to join your challenge and your team.
