I'm not sure what you're looking for - Kuchen is just the German word for cake, and of course there are tons of varieties.

One very popular German cake is Pflaumenkuchen (Plum Cake), like this one:

Here's one translated, an apple cake:

Also, a marbled bundt cake is fairly typical, such as this one:

Another is Bienenstich (bee sting), a cake with almonds and honey
