Welcome to SP. The first thing I learned on this site was that this is not just a diet, it is a journey to a healthier lifestyle. When I dieted I would lose the weight, go off the diet and put the weight back on. Thinking of this as a journey puts you in a different frame of mind. Take one day at a time and do the best that you can. Be honest with yourself and YOU will do fine.
