We aren't able to answer that question. Talk to your doctor.

We don't know your medical history and exactly how you hurt your feet. You're even pretty vague about it yourself. There's no possible way a stranger can answer that.

However, running IS more impact than stepping and walking, so there is the potential for more harm and pain, yes.

Ask your doctor.

Hello everyone,

I am new to here and wondering if you could help me with a few queries- as seem to be paralysing myself with indecision.

quick background was a real gym bunny for several years and slim- various job and life changes and i lost interest- then started couch 2 5k outdoors and likes it- added in swimming- about 1.5-2km a day- last summer hurt my feet think some breaks stress fractures and muscle issues according to doc and could not even walk for a while- got back into swimming after about 6 weeks- and now wanted to get back to something a bit more physical as have a stone to lose.

my problem is- i find a gym workout and then a swim too long- and not really motivated by gym(stepper and walk on treadmill) would like to do a c25k again outdoors as found that satisfying but am worried will end up back with feet problems...and found even eliptical a little sore on feet- I am walking- as do not drive so walk 6 miles a day minim- sometimes more like 12...

would like to try a run a swim and a walk again- as felt good an dtomed doing that- but a bit anxious about feet injuries- is it possible that feet wpuld be sore from gym but not form light jog/walk?

sorry for the long explanation and thanks in advance....

ib
