Here's my take, once again: don't pay attention to the "fashion magazines". Look at Playboy magazines, etc. Those women are not pencil thin, and they better represent what the majority of men want/like!
I know, right? LOL! The only thing I know for certain is this: I am 5'3 and I am 160pounds. When I weigh 140, everybody, I mean everybody, including men and women, tell me that I look fabulous and I do not need to lose anymore. I know for a fact cause men start flirting with me, my husband starts salivating, and women tell me I look great. I still have some a$$ and wide hips. I don't get it. I hate to bring this up again, but magazines are always saying how so and so is a size 0 or 2 and they weigh 105 or something like that. Either they are lying or they are seriously bony, IDK. It really confuses me but I think it's because most of them look like sticks and do not have any curves. It's kinda like I was telling another poster. I do not think I would look right if I lost any more weight. Sorry for long post.
because I wanted to know if it could be natural, as in genetics to never lose weight on a certain area of your body. I tell you, I am so sick of all the contradicting advice on everything about weight loss. I am not there yet, but was just wondering if I continue to lose weight until my big butt was gone, would I look unhealthy and bony, just wondering. But having read your post I guess I am to assume that probably no one knows so I will shut up on the subject now. Sorry.
thanks Eric. There is no need to post in general section because there are so many new posts that it gets left behind before anyone has a chance to read it. BTW, I have not seen a girls section on here. Also, if I were a guy, I would prefer hourglass, too, so I need to shut up I guess.

well, it didn't just occur to me, but I just thought it last night. I have pictures of me when I was a teenager. I am 38 now. Anyway, I was in great shape, but I still had big thighs and a big bootie. I am 5'3 and I weighed 127 pounds back then. Anyway, what I'm asking is,"do you think that I just natually have big thighs and big butt?" I pretty sure that if I had tried to lose any more weight, I would look like a skeleton with big thighs and big butt. What you think?
oh, and I have wide hips, and I know I can't do anything about that. I just have the hourglass figure.
