yeah you're right, Eric. I forgot you said that earlier. I bet those ladies are at least 125 pounds with all those curves. I don't miss anything in that department. So thanks, you just made my day.

Here's my take, once again: don't pay attention to the "fashion magazines". Look at Playboy magazines, etc. Those women are not pencil thin, and they better represent what the majority of men want/like!

I know, right? LOL! The only thing I know for certain is this: I am 5'3 and I am 160pounds. When I weigh 140, everybody, I mean everybody, including men and women, tell me that I look fabulous and I do not need to lose anymore. I know for a fact cause men start flirting with me, my husband starts salivating, and women tell me I look great. I still have some a$$ and wide hips. I don't get it. I hate to bring this up again, but magazines are always saying how so and so is a size 0 or 2 and they weigh 105 or something like that. Either they are lying or they are seriously bony, IDK. It really confuses me but I think it's because most of them look like sticks and do not have any curves. It's kinda like I was telling another poster. I do not think I would look right if I lost any more weight. Sorry for long post.

Not what I meant. This is what I meant:

yeah there are programs. It's called a visit to the doctors office to talk about the procedure of sucking fat off of your a$$, better known as liposuction.

Aren't there specific "beachbody" programs for this "problem"?

And again, since it's brought up in the guys lounge, I feel totally qualified to respond to this!

because I wanted to know if it could be natural, as in genetics to never lose weight on a certain area of your body. I tell you, I am so sick of all the contradicting advice on everything about weight loss. I am not there yet, but was just wondering if I continue to lose weight until my big butt was gone, would I look unhealthy and bony, just wondering. But having read your post I guess I am to assume that probably no one knows so I will shut up on the subject now. Sorry.

Turtledove- I get what you mean. Now I see why you came to the guys lounge- we get it!

Boisins is missing the point. We're not talking "fat" you know what- we're talking some "junk in the trunk" as in the BEP song I posted!

yeah I know, I didn't misunderstand you...
but I really don't think so... it would eventually get small...
why do you come here to talk about your big butt anyway? lol just curious...

you misunderstood me. I mean I would look like a skeleton in the face and arms and legs and still have these big thighs and big butt. Not real big, but big.

Not too personal- that describes me and my wife as well! And she is the same- thin, yet a solid booty that I wouldn't want any other way!

????
I have never seen a skeleton with big thighs and big butt.... I'm sure that if you lose enough weight you will also lose all your FAT there...

Some booty is a good thing. I'm sure your husband agrees!

thanks Eric. There is no need to post in general section because there are so many new posts that it gets left behind before anyone has a chance to read it. BTW, I have not seen a girls section on here. Also, if I were a guy, I would prefer hourglass, too, so I need to shut up I guess.

This sounds more like a question for a "Girls' lounge".

HOWEVER, if the question were "what do guys prefer?":

Give me the hourglass figure any day over skin and bones!

well, it didn't just occur to me, but I just thought it last night. I have pictures of me when I was a teenager. I am 38 now. Anyway, I was in great shape, but I still had big thighs and a big bootie. I am 5'3 and I weighed 127 pounds back then. Anyway, what I'm asking is,"do you think that I just natually have big thighs and big butt?" I pretty sure that if I had tried to lose any more weight, I would look like a skeleton with big thighs and big butt. What you think?

oh, and I have wide hips, and I know I can't do anything about that. I just have the hourglass figure.
