I've had my Fitbit for about two years and I'm just getting back into using it. It's pretty handy.

I have the fitbit zip and it's just okay.
If I buy another gadget I would get something that tracks heart rate as well as steps.
The zip does not count distance/calories traveled on my bike or rower. It would be fine if the only exercise I ever did was walking.
Another feature that would be nice would be an alert if it was time to get up and move :)

I am so close to buying one and am excited about the positive reviews here. Has anyone paired it with the (admittedly expensive) scale?

I'm still using my ultra, but my husband upgraded to a fitbit one and likes the feature that syncs it with his smart phone. I've bought one but haven't moved to it yet since I am waiting for a holder for it... afraid of losing it without a secure clip.

I've had a Fitbit since September and I love it. I have a sedentary desk job and having my Fitbit on is a constant reminder to get up and move more throughout the day.

Go ahead and get one, you'll love it!

I love my fit bit one!!! My husband and I both have one we love to compete to see who is the weekly winner for the most steps. As the other poster mentioned it also makes tracking your fitness and steps on SP so much easier.

I have the fitbit one. I just got it about a week ago, but I love it. I was also on the fence about it, but I realized that everyone I talked to that had one only had good things to say about it. The only bad thing I have ever heard is that it costs a lot. Which, it does, but it is worth it. I love how it keeps me going and on track. And, since I am competitive by nature, I love that I can "compete" with my friends on how active I am. I also compete with myself to get more steps and more floors etc. I would definitely suggest buying one.

Also, tracking fitness is a zillion times easier now...everything auto syncs.

I got one for Christmas and have used it every day since. I really like it because it keeps me on track for flights of stairs and steps and I really like the sleep setting to see how well or poorly I'm doing. I would definitely recommend it although I would like to have gotten the new one that you can wear all the time but it wasn't available when I asked for it and there isn't the same easy visual display.

I have been reading about the Fitbit One ( not the Zip or Ultra ) & thinking about purchasing one. However if any one out there is using one what is your take on it
