I have the third generation ipad, and I like that I can attach it to a keyboard and use it as a laptop. What I did notice though, is when I'm laying on the couch or laying in bed and holding it, I'd actually prefer the ipad mini, as it's just less awkward to hold, but still big enough to look at the new, etc.

It all depends what you think you'll use it for.

My husband did a bunch of research because he bought me an IPad for my b-day and said the new 4 is the best one for memory capacity, screen size, viewing ratios, and typing, and I have to agree that I absolutely love it. I held the mini when we went to the Apple store and it was just too small for watching a movie and reading.

I've decided to get an ipad and I'm not sure which to get: the regular or the mini. Any opinions would be helpful. I know the mini is new so if anyone has examples of how they use their ipad in general that would be great too.
