BEHKHEKKHUN,

There are some pretty intense upper body workouts that only use body weight exercises. Example, Burpees. Personally, I LOATHE the things. However, they are a pretty amazing body weight exercise that works every part of your body, not just your upper body.

There are a lot of different body weight workouts out there. It depends on your level of fitness. These are just two examples. there are thousands more on the internet.

My upper body strength was at its best when I did yoga regularly. When properly practiced, yoga can be a heck of a strength building routine.

Can you just not lift a weight past a certain number, or would you rather do bodyweight exercises? What about using resistance bands instead? That way YOU control how much resistance you are bringing to your muscles.

Those are some of your best options.

Look for more challenging variants where you can, such as holding the down position for 3 seconds with a pushup, or single leg pushups (puts more weight on the arms).

you can do other body weight exercises to work the muscles differently- spark has a ton of them in the fitness tracker!

I have been working on increasing upper body strength and core strength. Focusing on chin-ups pull-ups and push ups.

any other thoughts on increasing upper body/core without weights.
