I think you need to get to the root of Why you gained the weight back. Being bi polar is an excuse to fall back on. Depression can lead to self sabotage, exercise can help with depression. Getting to a healthy way of eating would be a good start. You may want to try some natural supplements that can help with mood swings like serotonin.

You have done it before. You can do it again. Maybe this time try to take it a little slower. Make small changes at a time. Get comfortable with what you change then add another change. That way you are making permanent changes instead of just dieting.
Progress 101.2 lbs - 30.6% of my original weight ;) Starting BMI 47.52 extreme obesity .... Current BMI 33.1 "simply" obese - much closer to overweight than extreme obese now!!

You lost 50 pounds in only 5 months. That's quite an accomplishment. You have done it before so I think you can do it again. Don't think about the fact that you gained it back. That's not what's important. It's the fact that you can lose the weight that's important. You have done it before.

You already know you can do it. Ditch the past and move forward with making this a permanent lifestyle change this time as you lose the weight you want. Quitting before you start will not make a healthier you. Start fresh, Make your goals, create your plan and make your choices ones that will move you toward your goals. i did really good and lost 50 pounds in 5 months and gained it all back and then some. i am bipolar which makes it even harder!! had i not had the relapse, i would be half way to my goal now, which is so frustrating!!! i feel like giving up and just quitting!!! any ideas???
