Hello and Welcome to SparkPeople!
I started Sparking in June of 2007. By using Spark and some self discovery along the way, I'm down 50 pounds, and am holding steady at a healthy weight. Spark is a massive site, you'll be discovering new and exciting things for months to come! * Diet is a dirty word. Every time I hear it, I wash my mouth out with chocolate!

my sister-in-law refereed me to this website , i have already figured out the fitness and nutrition trackers , and those 2 are the most important too me at this time. i am a mom of 6 and a stepmom to 5 , and a grandma of 20 with 21 due in july. i work at walmart and am on a medical leave becuz of anal cancer , luckily it was caught early , and i am cancer free in the original site , but it may have metastasized into my lungs , i go for another CT in april ,but, i still am recovering physically from the side effects of the radiation , it burned me up pretty good , but i am doing much better. 10 years ago i went into a deep depression ,i stopped eating,at some point i realized that i wasn't myself , and realized that since i wasn't hungry, i still had to eat, so i ate healthy, then one day i found myself in a really dark place, probably hours from harming myself, and realized that the way i was felling was not normal,the very next day i called the dr for an appointment, and went on meds , and have been on them ever since.At that time i started at 220 lbs , after the depression was addressed , and starting to feel better , i stayed on that healthy eating and doing exercises and got down to 130 lbs. i stayed that way for years . then at about 50 other health issues started , and my exercising started to suffer , my depression was starting to get out of control, my healthy eating didn't last either , so right now i am up to 183 lbs again , some of that is from last year when my oncologists wanted me to gain 20 lbs to offset my vomiting and diarrhea , because of the radiation. so now my depression meds are back on track , and so am i. i want to start eating healthy again and start getting my body back in shape , most of my muscle tone is gone , and that is the first thing i want to accomplish , is get some of that back , before i worry about major weight lose and major exercises , if my muscle tone isn't there , it will be that much harder to do the others , and i don't want to give up , so muscle toning and building is first, and if i loose weight at the same time , that's a added bonus, my goal is to get down to 150 lbs , and have muscle tone
