My husband arrived home from his ski trip to Alberta on Thursday evening, and already he has created new challenges for me. While he was away, I chose only those foods which gave me an over-all daily carb/fat/protein breakdown of 50/30/20 as recommended for me by SP (or as close to it as I could, usually no more tha 2% over or under on each category. Suddenly I was again cooking french fries for him, giving him an ice cream sundae... while I had my baked 1/2 sweet potato and yogurt with fresh berries. I was perfectly happy with my food while he was away, but the smell of the fries really got to me... but I resisted. Have to keep reminding myself that I missed him, and a few extra food challenges are worth having him home again.
