It's a lot of things. Sometimes one thing isn't really improving but others are, KWIM?

For example, the scale might not be moving, but I might be noticing more tone in my arms and legs. Or someone compliments my weight loss, or I manage extra reps while I'm lifting weights, or I run somewhere without getting winded, or my pants get too big, or I choose the healthy choice at dinner.

I tend to get a little fixated on the scale, so I have to constantly be celebrating and remembering the other victories that are just as meaningful and important. :)

I measure success by how happy I am!!!!

by how many clean meals I eat.....how my workouts are coming along...and my praise reports to God at night before bed.....

When I know that I have done my best, and did not harm any one or anything, that I can just put my head on my pillow and go to sleep peacefully.

One day at a time!
Did I meet my goals for today? If yes, success! If not, I try to do better tomorrow.

Nothing is off limits on my diet, because it works better for me. I measure success differently at different times. Sometimes it is clothing fitting better, other times noticing increased ease of movement or my waist getting thinner, etc.

I choose to measure my success by the amoount of days I have abstained from the food I consider my 'Drugs of choice" Wheat, sugar, high fat and salt foods, Also by the number of days I have been free of addictive behaviours like binging, sneaking and hiding food.
