I am not an expert, and I just started dieting AGAIN myself, but I think you should do whatever you're motivated enough to do. So if you really want to workout more and eat healthier, DO IT. It may even make you more motivated than you already are, but if for any reason you didn't continue working that hard, don't beat yourself up about it, and return to setting small goals again. I think your motivation is a great thing and I really believe you should go for it, and you actually encouraged me a little bit too, so thanks! :)

You can certainly begin putting all the pieces into place. This overview of Fast Break might help you with the "big picture" and intention of this phase.

Hi guys!

I just started this program, and I'm in the fast break stage of the spark diet. The thing is, I feel like I'm ready to start exercising and eating healthy, much more than just the three small goals. I have a ton of motivation, because I'm starting fresh, and also because the man in my life is really supporting me and pushing me to get healthy.

my question is this: do I have to hold back during the fast break, and just focus on the three small goals, or can I focus on those but also do 40 mins of cardio 5x per week, and eat way better than I was before, and make all the other changes I'm dying to make? I'd love some you think I'm going to burn myself out if I change too much too fast? I'm not being a perfectionist about it, but I'm ready to start exercising!
