Hi Queen,
When I first started I used the meal plans but found they weren't necessarily my kind of food. I used them as a guide of what I should be eating and how much.
The best way around the nutrition tracker, is to put in your favourites or if you eat a meal consistently, to make a "group". For example, I eat oatmeal every day without fail with 1tsp maple syrup. I have that set up as a group. One click and it's in my tracker.
Good luck in your weight loss journey!

Hi Queen

You might consider following SparkPeople's meal plans for a while, just to get an idea of healthy foods to eat. Once you feel comfortable staying in your calorie and nutrient ranges, then you can turn off the meal plans and track your own foods that are more specific to your needs.

I hope that helps! If you have more questions, let me know.

Coach Jen

Everything you need to know is right here on this site.

Personally, I think the best plan is the one you design for yourself.

I know that if you want to loose weight you have to change mind set I am just wondering is the program food lover and Jillian body revolution any good if so what is the difference between them and other program. I do not see anything on this site in regards to portion size and how much fruits I should have it is hard to measure calories and how many times of day I should eat some say eat every 3 hours

Hi everyone I am new to this site trying to loose 50 to 60 pounds. I saw the information on television about the food lovers diet and also the Jillian Micheal body revolution. Has anyone every tried any of these two program, not sure they are both expensive and I am a single mother, I like my carbs. the food lovers diet looks like you would eat more fruit and veg and little carb. If anyone have any information please let me know thank you. Iam also 46
