1 pound any shape pasta 1 pound lean ground turkey 1 small onion minced so kids don't see it 1 small green pepper minced so kids don't see it 2 cloves garlic minced 1 tablespoon Italian Seasonings 1 jar your favorite pasta sauce
Boil pasta to box directions in a big pasta pot
In a fry pan , saute the onion, garlic and green pepper in a bit of olive oil for 5 minutes. Add the ground turkey and Italian Seasoning and saute until turkey is done.
Once pasta is done, drain it and return to the pasta pot. Add the turkey mixture and mix well. Add the jar of pasta sauce and heat through.
Enjoy with a salad !
Change up the pasta shapes. Elbows, ziti, spaghetti, wagon wheels, rotini etc etc That way the kids won't be bored with the same old dish every week because they will see different shapes !
