Are you tracking your calories? If not that might give you some idea of if you are eating enough/too much? I don't know about the exercise, I guess it depends on what is possible with your schedule.

good idea with the nuts, that's what I am attempting to do with bring the fruit n yogurt but nuts can be a nice chnage up in there
....I'm worried I'm eating too much, randomly, and not burning it off
any suggestions on if I should just work out more intensely?...for how long?

That sounds like a really difficult situation. What about keeping some nuts or something like that in your pocket or desk and having a few as a snack in those long times between meals?

Hi people, I have a problem. I landed this new job a while ago, working the night shift from 7p to 7 30 a. When I work, basically 4 nights in a row my schedule is basically sleep until around 5p eat get ready and go. While at work I eat a fruit(@6a), a light yogurt(@ 4a), and a small 'lunch' at around 11pm. When I get home around 9a I go to sleep and the routine starts up again. That means that when I'm working I only eating 2 meals a day, way too far apart from each other, eat late, and don't exercise.
The rest of the week I try to get up at 8a, eat breakfast, go for a walk, go to the gym. Maybe snack on an apple, have lunch if possible(financially strugggling to buy groceries, I basically buy fruits, veggies, beans, lentils, and breakfast stuff). I have dinner around 9p and then try to regulate my sleep at night.
It's only been about two weeks since I joined this site, but I feel I haven't progressed towards my goals at all, in fact I feel fatter and my clothes is even tighter. emoticon On top of this weird schedule I'm working with I have PCOS and have been working on losing the same stubborn fat for years.
Should I workout more intensely on the days I go to the gym? Maybe more reps? double the cardio?
Please any suggestions on how I can make this all work would be lovely.
thank you
