Hi Jana and welcome. There are a lot of great people on this site as well as a lot of experience and information.

We all know how hard it is to get started so keep on coming back for support. Check out the articles and the tools. Make the food tracker your best friend It's always interesting to find out the nutritional value of what we eat.

Take it slow and easy, no major changes and give yourself time to develop new habits. You can do this.

Welcome. I've been on Spark since July, 2013 and I've never missed a day of logging in my food and exercise since I joined. If I can give you any advice it would be to do that no matter if you have a bad day of eating or not. Just be honest about your food and stay motivated. You can do it.

just wanted to introduce myself. my name is jana and I am new to sparkpeople and I am hoping that this will help me with my weight loss goals. I have tried and failed a lot but maybe this will me my go getter to a better me for life.
