You already got a lot of great advice from the last post. With regard to your picky eaters, I'll just add one thing that's helped me. Food is fuel. You wouldn't put junky fuel in your vehicle, right? Think of your body the same way. Sure, there are a lot of foods that taste more exciting than vegetables. But it's good fuel for your body. It helps your body to perform to its maximum abilities.
Hi Teresa, and welcome. So glad you and your husband are making a change! Get familiar with everything and join some teams. Teams are good for motivation, accountability and support. I think it may be great if you look at the recipes and I am going to add a link for a team that I think will help your husband, please don't think I am pushy and good luck to you both on your journey!

My name is Teresa and I just found this site last night! I was so excited when i found it and have already started using the food tracker and LOVING it!
I mainly started my quest for healthy eating because my husband was just recently diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes. Needless to say this has been a huge lifestyle change for us. He is a VERY picky eater and has never been a fan of many fruits and veggies. We are trying to find as many recipes as possible that are low in carbs and fat but still taste good and that are kid friendly. I have two VERY picky teenagers as well so this is a HUGE challenge for me with 3 picky eaters!
We just completed week one of our quest for healthy eating and I have to say we have done great!!! My husband has already started seeing results of lower blood sugar readings and NOT starving. So I guess I am doing something right so far!
I look forward to meeting everyone and getting involved as much as possible on this site.
