what 'kind' of snacker are you? Salty? Sweet? Crunch? Carb-y?......there are a lot of good snacks that are low-cal, low fat and have protein. A good way to find what will be a satisfying lifestyle change for you, is to substitute you fav snacks with a healthier version. Here are some of the things I do. - greek yogurt - has tons of protein, the plain is only 100 calories - lavash roll ups - I use Joseph's Flax, Oat Bran and Whole Wheat Lavash (a kind of flat bread) because one serving is only 50 calories and it has 5 grams of protein. Then I use a tbsp of hummus, 1 oz of Cabot 75% reduced fat cheddar, 2 oz of lower sodium deli turkey meat, and a whole bunch of vegetables, roll it up and its delicious! I will eat if for lunch. But to make a snack version, I will just spread a thin layer, like a tbsp of peanut butter on it, a tbsp of raspberry jam, and roll it up. Mmmmm....lavash is my savior right now! - PROTEIN SHAKES WITH FROZEN FRUIT! These save me! I use frozen fruit so that its cold and thick like a milkshake, only I'm using 8oz fat free milk, a cup of fruit and the protein powder, which varies but the one I use is 100 calories and has 20 grams of protein! - Yasso Greek Frozen Yogurt bars - raspberry. So good if you want a sweet treat. These are only 60 calories and have 9 grams of protein! - a serving of nuts - good protein, healthy fats - veggies - I love veggies, but when I feel like snacking, they don't particularly do the job. But I know I'm more likely to snack on veggies when they are cut into little sticks. So i cut carrot and celery sticks. .......there are so many more! Chobani yogurt is thick and rich tasting...120 calories (vanilla) to 160 (pineapple). I also like Triscuit Thin Crisps; they are good when you just want a couple to munch on something. They come in different flavors. If you like raw veges, salsa is a great lo-cal "dip."

Hey Im new to sparkppl. Im a snacker and looking for info on some snacks i can have 2-3 times a day that are low fat and low calorie. Please help!
