You might like to read "My Big Fat Boyfriend: How to lose weight while dating a diet disaster" - I remember reading it a while ago and liking it's lighthearted approach. It was just nice to read that I'm not the only one who feels like this!
My hubs also eats OUTSTANDING amounts of food to both cut and build. It really helps me that he doesn't eat terrible food (pop tarts and potato chips?!? that's not a very good source of fuel for a healthy body) and that I'm aware that I need to eat less and differently than him. I try a taste of whatever he has, then make and eat my own food. You might see if there are other good suggestions over at the forums on forum.bodybuilding.com/ .
Last, but certainly not least, start strength training yourself if you aren't already doing it. Now that I do the big five lifts as a center of my exercises, I'm looking waaaaaaay fitter and losing weight AND I get to eat more than before.
Yesterday is but a dream, tomorrow but a vision. But today well lived makes every yesterday a dream of happiness, and every tomorrow a vision of hope. Look well, therefore, to this day.

ummm i am not too sure if it is eating too little...i have gained weight this past week (3lbs) i tracked my food in the beginning but got lazy this week after i went to a party...i guess it is just getting as you said my head back in the game and doing what i have to do...eating cleanly but still enough to keep me satisfied
Intensegirl- I am sorry to hear this but maybe you are not eating enough? Do you track your food? I am having the opposite problem, I am eating TOO much...and not tracking. I seem to have lost all of my motivation and desperately need to get back on track. I know I just need to get my head in the game but I cannot seem to get there. I wish I had a switch that I could just turn on or off..but if it were that easy we would all be healthy and at a normal weight. Best of luck!
