I have a question maybe someone can answer. As you lose weight, do your feet get smaller? I currently wear New Balance. I have another really good pair by Avia, but I noticed that my legs, knees & feet didn't feel good after wearing them.

I love my Nike Air although I'm not sure if it's a running or walking or both shoe. I where it walking.

I am a big fan of Brooks, in general. Not a brand that you hear about as much as Nike or whatever but... I really have had great experiences with this company. I will say though, a lot of the shoe is the insole, which I always have to buy seperately, due to my crazy high arches. I went to Finish Line and tried on half a dozen pairs of shoes and I'd say probably 4 or 5 different insole inserts, in all different combinations before finding my Cinderella perfect fit. :)

I've been wondering the same thing. I think I'll take the advice and get fitted.

It just depends on how your feet feel when u try on the shoes. These have worked 4 me. New Balance, Skechers, Asics, Saucony

You're going to get as many answers as there are feet! There's no one brand that's best for everyone. It depends entirely on your feet and their needs. The best thing to do is go get fitted at a specialty store, so they can determine what's best suited for your feet. IF you can't do that, go try on a bunch of different kind, and walk around in them (seriously, walk around... I've been known to walk all the way around an Academy Sports to try some out) and see how they feel.

I wear Saucony...but any brand that fits your foot & feel comfortable is great. New Balance, Nike, Asics, Saucony...whatever works for you!
