Wear a heart rate monitor- this is for many people the best option when using machines for cardio.. Sometimes if I wear a pedometer if my stride is correct the pedometer doesn't register movement.. It is registering impact as we walk- there is no impact on a gazelle it is like peddling a bike..

I just replaced my batteries & I know the calories burned/pace setting is not the same as it was pre-batteries replaced....My question is- Should I wear an accurate pedometer( what one) on the gazelle or just continue with the lower rate readings?
