I don't know alot about that surgery...I would suggest maybe finding a team that has that in common with you and they can encourage you with that...here are a few links:

Advice needed please, several days post op still cannot get in more than 32 or so ounces of water/food/protein supp. Pain still remains high 6-9. . Im attempting to wean my toddler off of the breast which is getting nowhere fast. Help..... oh i have only had to use insulin twice this week . B/P still high, one thing at time.
