Not here in MI. They dropped 20cents and then shot back up.

No changes here in Colorado... hovering around 3.65 at King Soopers (grocery store). I don't miss California gas prices... most of it is because of emission requirements and taxes.

The gas prices will never go back down to what makes sense and is affordable to the consumers. The gas right now in northern California is $4.54 - $4.89 depending on your area it could be ten cents higher or lower. Not more than six months ago the gas prices were no more than $3.89 a gallon, the prices just continue to rise I don't see them going down election or not especially in California when they make up reason to charge us more, I heard on the news last night California supposedly makes their own special blend of eco friendly gas, sounds like a bunch of BS to me! Just another reason to over charge the consumers. emoticon emoticon

Ours (also on the West Coast) have been up and down a lot, too. Not as high as California's but higher than, say, Nevada.

I think these unpredictable gas prices add a lot to the sense of economic unease that people feel, since there's no longer any rhyme nor reason to the changes. One day prices are up .12 a gallon, three days later they're down .05....

Long Beach CA gas down to 4.53 today from 4.62 yesterday. And I thought gas prices dropped in an election year!!!!
