I use the Daily___ apps, I've used Zombie Run 5k but now I use RunKeeper when I'm running outside and of course the SP app.

The Zombies, Run! apps!

You don't actually have to run (I walk most of mine) but they're an immersive audiobook style game. And they just released season two!

Sworkit looks great, I just loaded it.

I also have Daily ___ workout loaded (Arm, leg, butt...) It is similiar to sworkit where if you only have a few minutes you can get a quick workout.

I'm using RunDouble (C25K) to train for a 5K.

I was wondering about the app too but with so many bad reviews wasn't sure about the $3.99 so I induldged in the sparks app only because I used myfitness pal for months and years, but its not given me what I need.. the sparks app page seems to be giving me more of what I need and I loveeeee the fitness part of it

Other apps I have downloaded were Seconds- HIT training.. for when you do weights it times you for exact seconds then lets you know when to start your next set of reps,

Sparks Recipe apps are wonderful for quick dinners like whats for dinner? Want something new? Most stuff is already in the cabinets, so a quick stop at the store for the meat or other main stuff you have a wonderful quick and new meal, I have yet to come by a meal that our family doesn't like and my son is extremely picky.. but he loves any meal we cook through sparks..

I have also found out there are fun free pedometers as well, I have that as well, really fun!

There is a sparkpeople app that allows you to track your food and exercise

My fitness pal is a completely different site so the app would require you to have an account with that site as well

That's the list of the top free health and fitness apps for Androids so you can get some idea of what other apps you might like

I am going to be getting a smartphone in May for the first time and have been looking into what I could find or use with the phone for apps. I am looking for some that involve sparkpeople and there is one called my fitness pal i keep hearing about. The main kinds I am looking for are exercise and food trackers for when I am not near a computer and resources for helping make healthier choices.

If it makes a difference its not an Iphone and is a samsung galaxy through U.S. Cellular. I hope this goes well, I am not always a technology enthusiast and tend to go for user friendly. I am getting this phone because its free from her and I dont want to pay for another phone I might not be thrilled with. Excited but scared kind of feeling.
