OMG! I NEVER thought about looking at a thrift store. What a great idea! 46 cents? Heck yeah!

Local libraries have a ton of DVDs you can check out

I have found the following at thrift stores, 20 various exercise DVDs to include yoga and Pilates, various books, Body for Life, Fitness for Dummies, The Abs Diet for example, jump ropes and multiple resistance band sets with bars from Lifeline USA. You will find stationary bikes, weight benches, free weights and even treadmills and ellipticals.

Seek and ye shall find,

That is amazing! One of my favorite cheap pieces of exercise equipment is my resistance bands. They are much more expensive at around $25 but they are very versatile for strength training. www.amazon.com/Black-Mountain-Products-Res

You don't have to eat the whole thing.

I am sure everyone here would love to save a nickel or two. My family likes and tries to save money where ever and how ever we can. My husband was out one day and knowing that I am trying to get fit again stopped in our local Goodwill. He and my son love to go in there because my son has found some awesome stuff.....(unopened Legos). Anyway, he came home with a pair of heavy hand weights that looked brand new. Guess how much he paid for them??? Forty six CENTS! Now granted they are not the newest version on the market, but I will take them......How often can you find something functional for less than $1.00, better yet 50 cents?
Anyway, if you do not go into thrift stores, I highly recommend it, you never know what you will find.
