I like using Mapmyrun. I like using it when I go for a walk, jog/run, and cycling. It shows my route. I have it set to announce my distance every 0.5 mile along with pace, speed, and time it has taken to complete that distance. When completed it will show calories burned. It tends to be a little higher than what this sites shows. I also use it to keep my cardio activities at the gym (treadmill, elliptical, rowing). That way I have it available when I come here to track my workouts.

There are others like mapmyfitness, mapmyride, etc. They all do the same thing but have subtle differences. Mampmyrun can help you find places to run no matter where you are in the country. I guess it could be used in other countries. Mapmyride would help you find places to ride your bike. Although, I think many people may run in some of the same places they ride their bikes.

I use Lose It to track my food. I also have used Runkeepers to track my morning runs. I like both.....

Hi, I am trying to find different ways to get myself motivated and have been looking at apps for my iphone. I did download Nexercise and have used it the past few days, I like the tracking but I still have more learning to understand the whole advantage of the app.
I was wondering if anyone else uses an app and which one and why you like it.
Any other ideas for motivation are welcomed too. thanks,
