It's funny watching some older shows and then going onto www.imdb.com and looking up their names to see what they look like today. Some people have really not aged well, others have. Guess it depends on how much they stayed in popularity....

An actress who has long been a favorite of mine, although her main fame came in movies in the 1940's, was Veronica Lake, whose best films were often with Alan Ladd. I have found it sad that the Hollywood "factory" system misused her great talents. She died an alcoholic and in obscurity at age 50.

My favorite films of hers: "The Blue Dahlia," "This Gun for Hire, " "I Married a Witch," and "Sullivan's Travels."

I also recently bought the three seasons of The PJ's on dvd through Amazon.
Awesomely funny claymation series from the 90s too.

Highly recommended!

I recently downloaded the entire series of The Flash from 1990-1991... it's 26 episodes.
I never got to see the entire series when it first aired back then, and it was never in re-runs.

I'm really enjoying watching the episodes now though, they're really entertaining!

When I saw Bill Bixby's name I remembered as a kid I used to really like the music to "The Courtship of Eddie's Father". My Grandson makes me feel like he thinks of me that way. My own kids (all grown up now), who knows? Benny

This is tough...I have always loved my tv and picking favorites is hard. So, here is an attempt.

1. Get Smart
2. Adam 12
3. Emergency
4. Charles Angels
5. Magnum PI
--I can only watch Get Smart these days, and a few Magnums--
6. Star Trek-Next Generation
7. Babylon 5
8. X-Files
9. Thursday night on NBC falls in this area for several years...HIll Street Blues, LA Law, ER and all the sitcoms leading to that hour...
10. Firefly
--Today--
Doctor Who
Person of Interest
Castle
Bones
Warehouse 13

Actress is also very tough...I really don't have a favorite. I end up liking someone in a role then I see them on a talk show and lose all respect for them.
