They responded to me and it is free. They gave me a code number. TRT. I signed up. So, everyday he sends you a 10 minute video of encouragement and tips to maintain what he calls "mental toughness" on your weight loss journey. He's a little too chipper for me, but the message is good. It's a 21 day series.

No, not ads. I read something in someone's post so I put fatloser.com in the SP search engine, and there were 245 posts. I read a bunch of them and most recommended the "free" program - some felt he was too harsh. He's into "mental toughness" - you need to take responsibility.
I was trying to find a recent post to respond to, to confirm it is still free, and I just sent a private message to someone who posted about it in July 2013, so hopefully I'll hear back.
when you say recommended do you mean you saw an ad for it? because spark just uses google ads, which means that the people that want to sell you stuff pick the keywords that make their ads appear. if people on the boards were recommending it, i would message the lot of them and ask.

Sometimes free isn't always free... Sounds a little strange to me.

The registration section on the home page didn't ask for any cc information but it had a coupon code. I didn't want to enter my info in the event I got more junk email. But, I definitely didn't see any indicator it's free.

yeah, I'm with you. A bit skeptical that it is free...

I've seen this program recommended a few times on SP, so I checked out the website. In the video he says it's free, but you do have to register and next to the registration form it says $495. I know he said he used to charge that, but why is it still by the registration form? I'm wondering if the policy has changed and he's charging again. And, why do we need to give name, address, and phone number if there is no charge? That also makes me think there might now be a charge.
