220 is where I was fit I have been on a diet and running for three weeks and have lost 18 to 20 pounds thanks for the information

Oh, there are plenty of ways to lose it quickly, but fast weight loss also means fast weight gain. Aim for no more than 2lbs a week. If you're looking just for a quick fix, this is not the place for you. However, if you want to make healthy choices and develop healthy habits, you're in the perfect place.
Either way, I wish you all the best, and hope you decide to stay here. Read as many articles as you can regarding nutrition, fitness, and motivation, take some of the quizzes. I have found spark to be extremely reliable.

There are no shortcuts.

People who tend to lose weight slowly also tend to keep it off over the long term. There was an interesting article on Spark recently about maintenance and weight loss...let me see if I can find it.

The best thing that you can do is to start tracking everything--food, weight and fitness---- and share your trackers with others. That is the best starting point for learning what does and does not work for you.

Are you saying that 220 is the weight at which you are fit?

I graduated high school at the weight of 220 then went to college for a year then 68 pounds later I I am trying to get back in shape I need a quick way to shed the pounds in as short of time as possible
