I just joined a gym and i'm going to tryto get there at least three times a week I hope they will give me good advice on how to exercise with bad knees

Hurting knees is my first sign of too much of load that I am carrying. I don't have access to a pool, I'm a little envious of that, but I find just walking, and walking some more - and I love Leslie Sansone's WATP DVD's - do the trick for me. Add some Fish Oil supplements and it's amazing what difference a few days can make. I wish you well! emoticon

I haven't done it yet, but I must try exercising in a pool. Keep up the good work and tips everyone!

Is there a way you can have access to the/a pool and walk or exercise by yourself on the off days?

thanks for the support/ i love it and here outside everyone is in the pool and i find as they talk to me they walk with me / if it is very crowded i sun in place and move my arms . so far it is going great but it is only three days now. we will keep the spark going emoticon

I LOVE exercising in the pool too. The water will take a huge amount of stress off of your knees. There are many folks in my water aerobics class with bad knees.

I just arrivewd in Florida and starting spark/ well walking any distance hurts my knees/ but yes but i started walking in the pool. moving for one hour/ each day it has been great with no increased pain after. While in the pool no pain at all. love it !!
