I have a friend with fibro and she was not able to run initially, but with the proper medications and restarting very slowly, she's been able to run again. I don't know much more detail than that.

I am 26 years old and recently diagnosed with fibro. The pain is mostly in my feet, shins and knees. Does anyone else have this condition and find exercise to be beneficial to pain management as an alternative to medication? I eat healthy and ran prior to diagnosis but have not been able to continue running due to pain.
