this is a description from one of the many websites that sells it "from the South American rainforest, Camu Camu berries are amazing superfruits that are said to contain more vitamin C than any other known botanical source. It is estimated to have 30 times more vitamin C than oranges along with calcium, amino acids & antioxidants that can help aid in the body’s overall health and vitality.
The Indigenous Amazonian people pick the Camu Camu berry (Myciaria dubia) in season, then dry and powder them, turning this purplish-red, cherry-like fruit to a light beige color. It has been traditionally used as a medicinal herb, improving the bodily functions of the brain, eyes, heart, lungs, liver and skin. It is also believed to help ward off the common cold, influenza and other viral diseases, various health conditions such as asthma, edema and heart disease, support strong collagen, tendons and ligaments, decrease inflammation, and help deal with stress and anxiety. "
has a slightly tangy taste and is great to use in smoothies and desserts. I have sprinkled it over ice cream.

Nope, never heard of it. Is this the new miracle fruit?
Weight loss is accomplished with the mind.
A person who wants something WILL find a way....a person who doesn't will find an excuse.
Which do you prefer? The pain of self discipline?....or...the pain of self regret?
i use it in my smoothies now and then depending if i want the extra fruit boost but without the sugar you get from fruit. WF sells it in powder form. I have also added it to some dressings and things i have made in the past. can't really say it made me feel one way or the other. Also can't say it helped with weight loss, but it is one of those superfruit superfoods.
