this is been amazing journey so far i love love the spark people cookbook and learning different and healthy ways to change my old habits! lost 2 more pounds and really starting notice lots of changes inside and out!!

So far so good...I do try and mentally prepare myself to get on the scales,set up different situations from best to worse case. Of course I would have like to see more weight come off ..but hey I did lose and FEELING so much better overall...that really is the purpose!! Reminding myself..it' the journey..not the short trip. I did walk my first 5k.. that was awesome and best of all I walked it with my mom and my kids!!! LIFE IS GOOD emoticon

I realize this is just the honeymoon stage..but I do feel better and I did lose 2.5 pounds so things are heading in the right direction emoticon now the goal is to turn this honeymoon into a marriage..lol

Well it's day 2 so far so good,trying to eat smarter worked out elliptical and treadmill and worked with some weights. But then I always stay blood in their beginning...lol . Still trying to figure out this program.

now that we are empty nesters(again) my husband and i decided(like most everyone)that its time to take of ourselves!! we both exercise walking/jogging and we go to gym. now of course being 49 and in the throws of menopause is just sooo helpful. like everyone i watch what i eat or so i think then i get on the scales and "really that's it"" why bother so here i go yoyo back and forth and he continues to lose weight but not i!! it gets to be very depressing,plus i know the right from wrongs but that doesn't seem to stick,have that glass a wine or diet coke/captain morgans only makes me want to snack MORE!! i know all of this so i decided to really put myself into this program and own up to myself..I KNOW I AM WORTH IT emoticon So i go!!
